Financial posting failed - A/c &1 requires a revenue-based account assignment relevant to cost acct

Hello everyone,

We hope that this email finds you well.

We have created the new statistical internal order in S/4 and the Users have allocated their expense reports to this new cost object in Concur.

However, we have the error message below about the integration of the financial posting in S/4 :

Is the error message related to the configuration of our internal order , which doesn't have the cost center ?

Can you please help us to fix the issue ?

Thanks in advance.

@BIHRSAS I'm not sure you will get an answer to this question here in the Expense forum as this area is read more by end users and not those that would deal with this type of issue.

My colleague @Andras might be able to provide some insight. He likely won't see this until tomorrow as he is based in Europe.

Thank you,
Kevin

Hi @KevinD ,

Thanks a lot for your quick feedback and the information 🙂

@Andras please can you help us to fix the issue ? How we can do in Concur to integrate the expense report into SAP, which is allocated to the statistical internal order without the real cost center ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @BIHRSAS

Statistical orders are a type of internal order that are used for information purposes only and are flown to the profit center (as opposed to "real" orders - that is, real postings done to the WBS element/Cost Center/Internal Order).

Currently, statistical orders are not fully (natively) supported within the ICS solution. To complete their integration, you must implement a BAdI for this scenario.

It is recommended that you visit the SAP Launchpad Portal and open an OSS Ticket to the SAP Support team (component BNS-CON-SE-ERP) so that they may verify this further, since this issue involves changing certain configurations in your SAP system.

According to the SAP ICS guide, internal orders (statistical orders are a type of internal order) will only be exported to Concur if their records are posting-relevant. To verify that this is the case, go to SAP transaction KO03 and, on the "Control data" tab, confirm that RFBU - FI: Postings is listed amongst the "Allowed transactions".

Best wishes,

Andras
