Export/import CTE_SETUP configuration

Hello,

we have two Concur instance, one for the production and one for the test that are respectively connected to SAP ECC production and SAP ECC test.

Now we have to copy the ECC production to the test system and we would like to avoid to do again the configuration in CTE_SETUP transaction after the system copy.

Is there a way to export and import the configuration?

@fede_ch As far as I know, all copying of environments would be done by SAP Concur. Have you submitted a help ticket to SAP Concur?

It’s the ECC system that we need to copy, not the Concur environment. My question was related to the export/import of the ICS configuration (CTE_SETUP transaction).

Is it something that can be done by Concur support?

@fede_ch We are also SAP ECC customers and when we make copy of our production client to our test client, they only way to reestablish the RFC connection in CTE_SETUP is to delete the configuration in the copied environment and redo the configuration in CTE_SETUP.  We also use PO as the middleware and this configuration also needs to be deleted and redone.

Yes, whatever @rwingerd mentioned is correct. You can delete the Connection and recreate it again. It should be quick and easy. We have done it multiple time in multiple environments till date. This is an expected behavior, whenever we copy the environments(Prod to test).
