Exchange rates feed to Concur

Hello Experts,

We need to send our exchange rates to Concur instead of using external Oanda.com rates available in Concur. We maintain all our rates towards USD and our ERP calculates rate between any two currencies based on this rate towards USD. For example:

GBP to USD

EUR to USD

And our system will determine GBP to EUR. But I understand from Concur that they cannot do such calculation and we need to send all exhcnage rates FROM Currency to REIMBURSEMENT Currency. Meaning if we want rates in EUR then we must convert all rates to EUR and then send to Concur. If we are then implementing for Poland, then we need to calculate all rates towards PLN and then send.

Is this the way of working for Concur? Because this will be lot of calculations in our source system and then send to Concur and will not be universal feed. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.

Regards,

Sumit

What you need is middleware to map IDOC generated by exchange rate replication program to text file and a script/MFT solution to transfer the file to Concur SFTP. Alternatively you can prepare file for upload manually by yourself and upload it to Concur.

Thanks LewisH, are you referring to any standard exchange rate replication program available to generate idoc? If yes, then can you please share additional details.

Yes, we will have middleware and send file to Concur SFTP. My question was also more around what type of rates we should send...can't we send all rates towards one currency like USD and Concur to calculate between any other currencies by convertible via USD?
