Cost centre not shwoing in Concur

I am new to using Concur so im still trying to get my head around using various funtionalitys on iot. 

does anyone know why some cost centre doesnt appear in the drop down menu for dept when im in concur.

We have thousands of cost centers in our system.  So only the most recently used numbers so up in the drop down.  You need to start typing the number in slowly in the cost center box and the center will show up in the drop down as more numbers are typed.

In our system if you type too fast the number will not show up.
