Connecting Fields

Hi,

Initially, out system has no connected llist for Report Header and Allocation. So, we are now trying to amend and change to hierarchy (Connected list). However, We are having an issue saying "FieldInUsed" . We already deleted all the unsubmitted, pending reports and send back. currently, We only have Approve reports on our queue but we still have this error up til now. can you please give some workaround to solve this?

@LovelyAsmolo I believe all reports must be cleared. So, if you have any reports anywhere that are waiting for approval, they need to either be fully approved or sent back then deleted. You cannot have any active reports that are using the fields you want to connect.

Hey Kevin,

We are experiencing a similar issue. We are trying to modify an existing connecting list and getting the same error:  FieldInUse.  We've removed the connected list from all report forms and entry forms. We've cleared all reports in our various approval statuses. Why would unsubmitted reports need to be deleted if they don't contain the field/connected list we are trying to modify?

@josh_fosk Thanks for posting in the SAP Concur Community. I see that you opened a case in the SAP Concur Support Portal. The SAP Concur Support team will be able to determine what is causing the error. Generally, the FieldInUse error means there is data in the custom field that needs to be cleared first.
