Hi. At what level was your receipt attached. If at the report header level, the line item will usually show a missing receipt, but in a caution mode rather than a full stop mode. At our company, employees are able to submit their reports when at least one receipt is attached to the report at either the header level or the line level. It frequently depends on the company set up. We complete 100% audits, so we are able to catch reports with actual "missing receipts without explanation and where copies cannot be obtained. We will send them back. Staff are so used to that now that they jump through hoops to comply.
