@Kelseyraffo there is a folder in the Expense area of the data warehouse labeled Lists. Within this folder there is a sub-folder labeled Employee Roles. That will give you what you are looking for.
If you are trying to look at just one employee, I wouldn't use Cognos for that, unless you do not have the correct role/permission to look at employee profiles. If you do have the permission, it would be easier to go to Company Admin>User Administration and search for the employee. On their profile you can see if they are Expense User only and/or have approval permission.
