car rent for work + personal use

Hi all,

I will be 2 days for business trip and rent a car, then stay for the weekend for vacation. Can I split the expense of the car rent between work use and personal use? Do I need to pay myself all and the ask for a reinbursment of half of the total or can I pay with company card and be debited then for half of the total amount?

@bellotp I would ask the car company to split the payment between your corp card and personal card. That will be the easiest thing to do. This way you will only see a charge come in for the business use of the vehicle which you can submit for reimbursement.
