Unable to submit expense report due to an aging transaction

I am getting the below error when submitting an expense report for expenses incurred during Sep - Oct 2026.

Error: Action Required: You have unused corporate card transactions aging for more than 50 days either under Available Expenses or assigned to other unsubmitted report(s) listed below. Please assign all the card transactions aging for more than 50 days to this report before proceeding further.

I have a transaction from July 2023 that was not submitted, which unfortunately is not coming up under available expenses or credit card transactions. Even adding the expense manually to the report didn't help. Is there a way to clear this past expense so that I can submit my current report?

Hi

Topic: Unable to submit an Expense Report due to an Aging Transaction

Please check the below. Hope this helps.

-----

The error is triggered by a 50-day corporate card aging rule.

A manually created expense does not reconcile the original corporate card transaction because it is not linked

to the imported card transaction record.

Follow the below:

  1. 1. Check all unsubmitted Reports: Look for the July 2023 transaction in draft or returned expense reports, not just Available Expenses.
  2. 2. Check transaction Filters: Clear date filters and review older corporate card transactions.
  3. 3. Contact your Concur Expense Administrator: Ask them to investigate the original July 2023 card transaction, including whether it is hidden, assigned to another report, or otherwise unavailable.
  4. 4. Request Administrative Resolution: Depending on the transaction's status and company policy, the administrator may need to restore its visibility, resolve its assignment, or work with SAP Concur Support.
  5. 5. Retry Submission: Once the original transaction is appropriately reconciled or the blocking condition is resolved, submit the current report again.

Important: Do not delete or recreate the expense solely to bypass the control.

The underlying corporate card transaction must be accounted for.

Resolution: Ask your SAP Concur Administrator to locate the July 2023 transaction under

Company Card → Manage Transactions, verify its status, and determine how to reconcile or resolve it. If the transaction cannot be recovered, the administrator should contact SAP Concur Support.

Any exception to the aging rule requires appropriate company approval.

Thanks & Regards

@anilam looks like your issue is resolved as I can see you have no unsubmitted reports or transactions. Is that correct?

I appreciate the video that shows how to move aged transactions into a report. Unfortunately, I don't have any expenses under Available Expenses or Card Transactions that meet the criteria.

Thanks Samantha for your guidance.

Option 4 Request Administrative Resolution: Depending on the transaction's status and company policy, the administrator may need to restore its visibility, resolve its assignment, or work with SAP Concur Support. did the trick.

After the concur admin removed the aging transaction from my user profile, I was able to submit.

Thank you for your help.
