Personal Car Mileage 500 Error Code

Hi,

Whenever I try to create a personal car mileage expense, it results in a 500 error code.

@egroves-ibm me again. I was able to create a mileage expense and save it. I think it is likely due to the location you select. 

Give another try and screenshot your screen for me so I can see all you entered.

Regardless, the location worked was: "College Park, Maryland"

@egroves-ibm I have no issue creating a mileage expense on your report. Are you using the Mileage Calculator or manually entering the distance on your report? 

If you are not using the mileage calculator, try clearing your browser cache and then try again. 

It's difficult to assist since I am not seeing the error on my end.

I'm using the Mileage Calculator. Maybe you could create a mileage expense and I could edit it?

A 500 Internal Server Error in SAP Concur Personal Car Mileage is a server-side processing failure.

Recommended:

1. Verify the starting and destination addresses, including College Park, Maryland.
2. Retry using an incognito browser window or another supported browser.
3. Check whether the Mileage Calculator loads successfully for other locations.
4. Check the Server Logs.

Since all suggested troubleshooting steps failed, escalate the SAP Concur Personal Car Mileage HTTP 500 error to SAP Concur Support.

1. Ask your company's SAP Concur Authorized Support Contact (ASC) to open a support case at SAP Concur Support.
2. Provide the error screenshot, timestamp with time zone, affected user, mileage route, and expense report ID.
3. Request investigation of the Mileage Calculator backend service, API failures, and server-side logs, which require SAP Concur Support access.
4. Ask your Expense administrator whether manual mileage entry is permitted as a temporary workaround.

An HTTP 500 error indicates a server-side failure, but it does not establish whether the root cause is SAP Concur, a mapping service, or a configuration-dependent backend process. SAP Concur Support must investigate further.
