Original request was less than booked amount

I requested approval for travel and logging that ended up being more expensive when I actually booked both the travel and the logging. I can't modify the request. If I submit a new request can I change the bookings for the flight and the hotel to include the new Concur Request Id? Is there another way I should approach this?

@zars1 I don't believe the Request amount needs to match the actual booked amount. The request is just the pre-approval to be able to then book a trip. 

Does your travel booking show that it is linked to the Request in question?
