Mileage Calculator - Physical Address Disappears when clicking on Make Round Trip

Hello,

I noticed recently that there's been a change in the mileage calculator that when a user types in a landmark into the Waypoint, and clicks off it, the physical address comes up (which has always been the case), but now when I click on the Make Round Trip button after, the waypoint reverts back to only the landmark name and doesn't show the exact address anymore. It can be very hard at the processor level to ensure that the correct address was used unless we're confirming the landmark address via google. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this a new Concur update?

Some screen shots to help explain:

Initial search for landmark

As soon as I click off it, physical address populates

Click Make Round Trip and back to just the landmark name with no address

Dear @marinapagnotta ,

I tested the same scenario by entering the location and selecting the Make Round Trip option. In my case, the exact location populated correctly. I have attached screenshots for your reference showing the following stages:

Before selecting Calculate Route

After selecting Calculate Route

After selecting Make Round Trip

If the exact location does not populate after you click Make Round Trip, please copy Location B and paste it again, in case the location does not auto-populate.

Please let me know if this works for you. If this resolves your query, kindly mark the solution as accepted.

Regards,

Meena

@marinapagnotta the Mileage Calculator is powered by Google, so Concur updates do not affect the mileage calculator screen. Maybe try clearing your browser cache to see if the resolves it.

Hello Kevin...Our processors are experiencing the same issue with being unable to verify the address. Does this mean we would need to instruct all users to clear cache? This was not an issue until the last few weeks or so.

@KathMc I would have one processor try clearing the cache to see if it resolves the issue and if so, then have the others do so.

Since the Mileage Calculator is powered by Google, we don't really have much troubleshooting tips, unfortunately. Others have had issues with the Calculator lately, so I think there might be something going on from Google's end.

Thank you,

Hi @KathMc , this glitch with my mileage calculator self resolved after about 1 - 2 weeks of doing this and I think it did for most of our team members (I see expense reports that have both mileage expenses depending on when they were entered). I'm still keeping an eye to see if it pops up again, but hopefully it resolves for you as well. I did not try clearing my cache so not sure if that's a fix or not.
