Is there a standard report that will tell you the number of expense reports by employee?

There isn't a standard SAP Concur report that directly shows the number of expense reports per employee.

If your organization has "Intelligence" enabled, you will have access to the the "Expense Entry Analysis" report that can be grouped by employee, but it focuses on individual expense entries rather than counting the number of reports.

If you also have access to "Report Studio", you can modify existing reports or create complex ones, and with "Query Studio" you can build simple reports.

@kgrate hello there. The short answer is no. The not short, but not long answer is, you can build this report in less than five minutes. Now, I say less than five minutes based on only what you mention in your post. So, if you simply want to see the number of reports by employee, you would only need to build a report with two data items: Employee and Report Name. Group by Report Name, the use the Summarize option to select total and it will count up the number of reports per person. 

Now, the question is, how do you rate your Cognos report building experience? Let's say on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being I've never even signed in to Cognos to 10 being I'm the best report builder in the world. 🙂

@kgrate well, it would take way too much typing to walk you through it. However, what I would suggest is attending one of the free webinars our reporting team offers that goes through using the tool. It is a really good way to learn the basics and you can't be the price. 🙂

Sorry, one question about the fields you noted.  Would it work to use Report ID instead of Report Name?  I would think that we would have duplicates with report names if that makes sense.
