Integration with Navan

Hi,

Has anyone setup integration with Navan (travel) so it will send expenses to Concur?  I've been following their (Navan) instructions but we get an error message "Expensing to Concur is not supported for this email domain".

Thanks for any insight anyone can provide.

Sincerely,

L Harris

Hi @LH499 ,

Note - I don't have any idea about this topic but while looking for the solution online I got below resolution steps. Can you please try and see if your issue get resolved.

By looking  at the error message it clearly indicates that your user account’s email in Navan doesn’t match the email domain registered in the Concur integration

How to Resolve
1. Verify email address

  • Go to Navan > Profile > Account Settings and confirm the email used for your Navan account.
  • Ensure it matches exactly the email domain used in SAP Concur.
  • If you’re using an alias like john.doe@eu.company.com but Concur is set up for @company.com, you’ll need to:
  • Either change your Navan email to match your Concur email, or
  • Ask your admin to add the alias domain to the Navan-Concur integration (see below).

OR

2. Check Concur integration domain settings (Admin)

  • If you’re an Admin (or can contact one):
  • Go to Navan Admin Console → Integrations → SAP Concur.
  • Review the Connected Domains or Email Domains list.
  • Make sure your company’s email domain(s) are listed and enabled.
  • Example: if only @company.com is listed, but you use @subsidiary.company.com, that domain must be added.
  • Save and reauthorize the connection if prompted.

OR

3. Reauthorize SAP Concur integration (Admin)

If the integration was set up some time ago, the authorization token or domain mapping may have expired or changed.

Steps:

  • In Navan Admin Console → Integrations → SAP Concur.
  • Click Reauthorize or Reconnect.
  • Log in with an Admin-level SAP Concur account for your organization.
  • Confirm the connection and mapped domains.

OR

4. Contact Navan Support

If the domain is correct and the integration still fails:

Contact Navan Support (support@navan.com or via Admin Console).

Provide:

  • Your Navan email
  • Screenshot of the error
  • Confirmation that your company uses Concur
  • (Optional) The integration name or connected domain from the Admin Console

They can manually add or map your domain on the backend.

If this answers your query, then please mark solution as accepted.

Thanks!
Regards,
Pooja

Pooja,

Thank you for that very thorough reply.  Although none of those suggestions worked, it did put me on the right path.  I am waiting for Navan to register our domain in their system.  I thought this was something I could do as an Admin but apparently not.

Sincerely,

Loretta

Hi @LH499 ,

Glad to hear that one of the options led you to the missing configuration step.

Once Navan registers your company domain and after performing testing, can you please confirm whether option 4 (suggest in previous response) resolved the issue and mark the solution as accepted so others can benefit from it. 🙂

Thanks!

Confirmed Option 4 was the solution for us. Thanks again.
