The IRS recently raised the mileage rate from 72.5 cents to 76 cents for business miles driven. The IRS website had this information posted on 07/13/26 and the change was effective on 07/01/2026. We didn't get any notifications of this change, and we typically get emails from the IRS about mileage reimbursement changes.
Can you please let me know if your company reimburses mileage at the IRS rate or another amount? If another amount, is it higher or lower than the IRS rate.
