@Frenchy750 when you have the ExpenseIt option turned on in the mobile app, it will auto-itemize for you, which is what your description sounds like. To check this, sign in to the mobile app. In the upper right corner you should see your initials. Press this. On the next screen select Settings. On the Setting screen the first option will be ExpenseIt. If the little slider is to the right, then this is on.
To make sure ExpenseIt is used when taking a picture of a receipt, from the mobile app home screen, press Expense at the bottom of the screen. On the next screen, press the + sign in the upper right. From the menu that opens, select Take Photo. This will turn on your camera so you can take a picture of the receipt.
Also, if you have a corporate card or use if you use a personal card for business expenses, you can add these to your profile and turn on E-receipts for which ever card is on your profile. Most major hotel chains provide e-receipts. When an e-receipt comes in for hotel, it will be auto-itemized when you add it to your expense report.
