HELP! I deleted my expense report for the month

I had a month of expenses and I found a duplicate expense and went to delete it. I only checked the ONE box, hit delete and the entire expense report for the month is now gone!! Is there anyway for me to get this back? I have to submit my expenses by tomorrow. I am officially sick by this and don't know what to do.

I’m sorry to hear that this can happen 😞 unfortunately when you delete a report that was created by adding expenses manually (not with transactions flowing from an automatic credit card feed for example), is not possible to recall it.

 

But if you try to create the expenses again the receipts could be there still stored, but this means that you need to create the report again.

 

So try to create the expenses manually just to check the receipts are there and when you click in the area to attach the receipt you will see the stored ones.

 

i know this doesn’t help you so much but if you think this is an accurate answer you can marked as a solution.

Why hasn't SAP Concur built a tool for this, so that it is retrievable? That's just unacceptable for a multi-billion-dollar company to lack that feature.

This is a free community where everyone can ask questions and share knowledge, so the people that is replying here not necessarily work for SAP Concur directly, every client has an Account Manager where they can address topics like this one.

Also each client can assign people within the organization to contact Concur Support by assigning the permission Authorized Support Contact.

 

I know how stressful and annoying this can be, because it has happened to me personally on several occasions for trying to do things too fast, but if we see this warning:

And we still decide to click on it, it is more our issue than the tool's, because the same could happen when trying to delete reports from a fictitious folder named Deleted.

 

Currently users leave a lot of unnecessary stuff in the system (old receipts/reports or test images) I assume the reason is an issue of efficient use of cloud storage.

 

In any case I hope this will be taken into consideration even as an additional service if cloud space is the reason why this functionality is not in the system.

@credwards75 I wish we had a better answer, but when a report is deleted, it cannot be retrieved.
