Expense Report Approval — No Follow-Up Reminder Notifications for Approvers

Hi Community,

We're hoping someone can point us to a native configuration option we may be missing.

Our Setup:

Approval routing: Manager > Processor

Reroute to approver's manager if report stays pending for 7 days (enabled)

Notification enabled: "An expense report is submitted for approval"

The Problem:

Approvers receive a single email when a report lands with them, but no follow-up reminders if it goes unactioned. After 7 days the report reroutes to the next approver, who also gets just one email and no reminders. This creates a loop where reports stall indefinitely with no one being nudged to act.

Question:

Is there a native configuration in Concur Expense to send automatic follow-up reminder emails to approvers after a set number of days?
