Expense Entry Analysis Details (grouped by Expense Type)

Hello, I have an employee who would run this report and was previously able to select other staff members, but now is not able to. Does anyone know why this may be? There have been no update to their reporting roles in the User Permissions field. I have the exact same roles and I'm able to select staff members.

In SAP Concur Intelligence / Cognos Reporting, this issue may be related to reporting data access permissions,

even if the employee's reporting roles have not changed.

Check the user’s Cognos reporting hierarchy access and report filters.

Identical reporting roles do not guarantee identical employee visibility or mean identical data access.

Compare both users’ reporting hierarchy permissions and report filters.

If permissions and hierarchy assignments match, escalate to SAP Concur Support to investigate the employee-selection prompt.

SAP Concur confirms that reporting access is restricted by assigned hierarchy groups.

Hello Samantha, thank you so much for responding. I'm not sure where to search for the hierarchy access. Do you know why that may have changed from last month for the end user?

@dturner can you ask the user to sign in to SAP Concur and mouse over the reporting option on the left-hand menu. See screenshot. A sub-menu should open. I'd like to see what shows in the sub-menu. It is possible that this user has both a Cognos role and the BI Manager permission. Having both allows them to access Cognos as either. The BI Manager permission restricts what users can be seen, where the Cognos role, unless specified, allows for accessing all employees. If I can see what the user is seeing in this menu, I can better advise. My screenshot is an example.
