Edit Expense Report by Manager

Hello

 

is there a setting that I can enable to allow mangers to edit expense reports and approve without the need to send ban to the employee?

@SSherman0824 I believe by default there are a few fields that can be edited. If you have access to Forms and Fields you can allow approvers to modify some other fields. However, in my opinion, I would not recommend this. 

 

Here is why. The expense report doesn't belong to the Approver and the owner of the report should be able to see what changes are made to a report before it gets approved. Also, allowing this sets a bad precedent to your employees that they don't need to be accurate with expense reporting because the approver will just make the changes for them if there are mistakes or edits to be made. 

 

Those are my thoughts on the topic. If you still want to do this, you will need to submit your request to Concur Support, unless you happen to have full site access.
