Hi,
we are currently using the Concur V4 API to approve the expense report when an approver clicks approve in our webex bot. The API we are using for this is https://developer.concur.com/api-reference/expense/expense-report/v4.workflows.html . We also have scenarios where delegates get the alerts on behalf of approvers. However, when delegates try to approve, we want to call the approval API and ensure that the system knows the delegate as acted on behalf of approver. This API expects the context type as MANAGER, user id of the approver and the report ID. Can we pass the delegate user ID in some way to record that the action of approval is taken by delegate.
As per confirmation from Concur, it only support MANAGER for approve and sendback API currently. Delegate parameter cannot be record down in the audit trail for now.
I also, entered the suggestion which needs voting from multiple Clients so Concur can work on this valuable enhancement.
This is the good enhancement which will help many Clients to expedite approvals process. I request admins here to help on voting the idea.
Thank you all for the help on voting 😃
