Delay in itineraries showing in available expenses

Is it possible to configure when an itinerary/reservation shows up in available expenses?

Typically one will show 24 hours after a trip is completed, or up to 3 days after if the trip ends on a Friday. Our employees frequently have to cut trips short, or may need to do expenses without waiting an additional 3 days. After speaking to a Concur support person they had mentioned it was our company policy to only post itineraries after trip completion, but did not elaborate. Is this true? Can we configure it to where these items show upon booking, or 24 hrs after booking instead of after the trip is complete?

Thanks!

@JohnV from what I read internally it is by system design for Airfare to flow to Concur Expense once the airfare is ticketed. For Hotel and Car, system design is for those items to flow to Concur Expense upon trip completion.

So, from my understanding, it isn't something each company configures, it is the way the system is designed.

I mostly assumed that was the case, but wasn't totally sure. Thanks, Kevin
