Concur mobile app bug? only one receipt at a time w/o amount review

My SAP Concur app has a bug over the last few weeks, where I can only capture one receipt at a time- whenever I capture a receipt image, it asks me if I’m done and then goes back to the main screen. In the past I was able to hit ‘next’ and it would allow me to review/correct the amount and then move on to the next receipt/expense. With the current state of things I have to restart with each new receipt which is highly annoying.
I am using an iPhone 14, iOS 18.7.2, and the app is updated to the latest version. I have removed the app, restarted the phone, and nothing works. This is extremely frustrating. Any suggestions?

hello @tEfrat

The same thing happens to us; I opened a case with Concur Support and they told me that it now works like this by design.

Oh no, what a terrible design smh. Thanks for your reply. Hopefully they’ll turn this back on.

Hi,

I think that this functionality was removed with the APP version where "Quick-Scan Camera" was added.

With the current version, if you want to capture multiple receipts and create one expense for each one, you must activate "Quick-Scan Camera" in settings.

Be aware that this functionality is also bugged:

  1. Sometimes it creates less expenses than receipts captured.
  2. Sometimes it turns on and off Expense assistant.
  3. Sometimes the screens turns white, like id you have took a picture, without a reason.

Thank you, I didn’t realize this was even a thing. Will try, hopefully with not too many bugs. Maybe the new version (downloaded yesterday) will have resolved some of them?

hello @NTS  @tEfrat

I have the latest version and this option doesn’t appear (Quick-Scan Camera). Could it be that it’s not enabled for EMEA?

Hi @cjmarimo

it's on IOS, I don't know why it is not on Android 😥

Hello @NTS

Thank you very much for your response, it's good to know. And yes, I have Android, and so do 99% of employees, only the CEO and departament directors use iOS.

I believe your response provides the solution to @tEfrat 's question?.

Both your answers helped. I don’t know if it solved it, really, but I guess I’ll work with what we got 🤷‍♀️

The functionality of the app before this update was so nice. It is unfortunate that they changed it. I did toggle on the quick scan camera after reading through this and I will try that to see if it functionally restores this function.
