Concur Expense Page not loading for all employees

I am a company administrator and have confirmed that Concur Expense User is assigned directly to my account. I have also tested additional administrative permissions, but the issue remains.

Despite having the Expense User role:

  • Expense does not appear on my Concur home page.
  • I cannot create or submit an expense report.
  • I do not see an Expense Group Configuration on my user profile.
  • The expected Expense administration/configuration options are not available.
  • Travel functionality continues to appear normally.

This previously worked in our environment.

Is the website down or having any issues?

@bgarcianhg did you check Concur Open? That is the first thing we would ask that you do to see if there is a current degradation or not. The last one I see what on Sept 28, but nothing the last few days.

Have you submitted a Help ticket Concur Support? That is the best course of action.

Thank you,

Hi  @bgarcianhg

My response is similar to KevinD's response. However, please try the below. Hope it helps.

Since Concur Expense is missing for all employees while Concur Travel continues to work, this is unlikely to be an individual user-role issue.

The symptoms point toward a company-wide Expense service, provisioning, licensing, or configuration issue.

Assigning additional administrator permissions will not necessarily resolve it.

Recommended Administrator Checks:

  1. Check SAP Concur service status for any active Expense incident.

  2. Verify Expense entitlement: Confirm that Concur Expense remains enabled for your company entity.

  3. Review Expense Group Configuration: If it is missing across all employee profiles, ask SAP Concur Support to verify company-level Expense configuration and group assignments.

  4. Check recent changes: Investigate provisioning updates, configuration changes, subscription changes, or migrations.

  5. Escalate to SAP Concur Support: Request investigation of the company's Expense product availability and backend configuration.

Important: The fact that Travel works does not prove Expense is operational. They are separate Concur products.

Is SAP Concur currently down?

I checked recent public information but could not confirm an active SAP Concur Expense outage affecting all customers.

You can check your environment's service status through the Service Status link on the SAP Concur sign-in page

Recommended Escalation:

Ask SAP Concur Support to investigate:

“Company-wide loss of Concur Expense product access. Expense User roles are assigned, but the Expense module, Expense Group Configuration, and Expense Administration are missing for all employees. Concur Travel remains operational. Please verify Expense service entitlement, company-level configuration, and recent backend provisioning changes.”

Include your company entity ID, affected user IDs, approximate start time, and screenshots.

My assessment: Because the issue affects every employee and the Expense administration functions are also missing, prioritize a tenant-level entitlement or provisioning investigation, while ruling out a service outage. Do not attempt to rebuild user roles or Expense groups until SAP confirms the underlying cause.

Thanks & Regards
