Cash Advance Incorrectly Classified as Personal

Hi everyone,

My cash advance is showing as “Personal” and greyed out in the system, even though it was used for work-related expenses, not personal expenses.

Has anyone experienced the same issue? How can I correct this classification?

Hi @amine_lahmam

Topic: Cash Advance Incorrectly Classified as Personal

Please check the below. Hope this helps.

——-

A greyed-out “Personal” classification does not necessarily mean the cash was used for personal expenses. It may reflect how the withdrawal or expense type is configured; your administrator needs to confirm.

The cash advance and the business expenses paid with it are two separate records.

Why is it greyed out?

Possible reasons include a locked expense-type setting, imported card data, or restrictions associated with the report’s status.

Contact your Concur administrator or Finance team.

Thanks & Regards

@amine_lahmam the cash advance expense type is configured to be automatically marked as personal. This is by your company's design. Just submit as is. 🙂

Thank you,
