I am supporting my client in a carve-out project where the majority of all operational business units are sold to another company. Part of this deal is also empowering the new owner with the respective IT infrastructure. Therefor, the existing IT infrastructure will be handed-over (SAP S4 system, Concur, etc.). As the existing Concur instance contains also data that is not part of the deal, we are discussing different options.
1. Delete data on company code level prior hand-over
2. Cleanse Concur completely, yet keep configuration and customization
3. Create an empty shell Concur copy with configuration and customization
While evaluating, we came across the data retention functionality, yet this only allows to delete data older 2 years.
Unfortunately, we haven't identified an adequate solution yet, maybe someone here in this group has some ideas/thoughts. Any hint or contact is highly appreciated.
