Can I Lock Expense Report Header Fields That Are Auto-Filled?

We have budget fields that are prepopulated in the expense report header for approval routing purposes, and occasionally someone will change this because they want the expense to hit a different budget, not understanding it should be changed at the line item level and not the header level.

 

Is there a way for us to LOCK these fields at the header level so they cannot be manually changed by the end user?

Hi @Kaluckb ,

 

It is technically possible to make field read only (lock) or hidden for users.

 

Role Required - Expense Configuration Administrator (Unrestricted)

 

Navigation:
Home Page >> Administration >> Click Expense >> Forms and Fields >> Select Expense Report Header form from drop down >> Under Forms Fields tab/section, Open appropriate expense report header form which is currently being used >> Expand form and look for budget field which you want to lock >> double click on field to open field properties >> Under Access section, for Expense User select 'read only' or 'hidden' >> Save

 

After doing this, field will become read only/hidden for end users as per your selected option.

 

In case if you don't have Unrestricted access to your Concur site then I would suggest raising support case with Concur and get required changes done.
