Best Practice for Scheduling report as admins for end users

Hi Community,

I have a request from an end user to create a weekly schedule for a report. The user  has access to this report 

What is the best practice here do admins create on end user behalf or It should be self service since other admins and that user will not have ability to make changes If I create this in my instance.

@VGomes what do you mean by "The user has access to this report"? Do they have access to view the report in Cognos? 

If a user wants to see a report on a weekly basis, you can use the Schedule option in Cognos. In the Schedule options you can set the report to be emailed. After you click the Create Schedule button and enter the schedule details, click the Options sub-tab. Under delivery you will see a checkbox to email the report. Select this. On the right hand side click the link that says Edit Details. Here you can enter the recipients' email addresses.
