Approve and Forward Button in Concur

Hi,

Is there any way to hide the Approve and Forward button in Concur? Our goal is to not allow Approvers to forward the Expense Reports to another approver so we are exploring ways on how to make this button hidden for all approvers.

Hi @brandtp09 ,

Refer below article. It says how to enable the feature.

To disable the feature, select No One option in workflow as shown below:

Hi @PoojaKumatkar, I tried this configuration and I can still see the Approve and Forward Button. Is it a case where only new reports created after this setting was applied will have the Approve and Forward Button hidden? For context, please see below the configuration we have on the Workflow:

After applying this change, I opened an Expense Report pending my approval and I'm still able to see the Approve and Forward button:

Hi @brandtp09 ,

Just a small correction in my previous response. The setting which is mentioned in article that is related to option available under report >> details >> approval flow section where based on setting either user or approver or both can add additional step in the workflow at the time of submission or during approval.

Regarding approve and forward button, it's by design and there is no settings available to hide it. By default it will be visible to default/expense/authorize approver. For cost object approver this feature is by design not available as per my observations.

Thanks!

Hi @PoojaKumatkar, looks like your solution for the workflow settings worked. However, I noticed that if there are any reports pending approval before the "Steps Can Be Added By" field was changed to "None", these reports will still have the Apprrove and Forward button. As for those reports that were submitted and pending approval after the change in the Workflow Settings were made, the button is no longer visible.

@brandtp09 correct. Once a report enters the workflow, any changes to that workflow will not be applied to submitted reports.
