0 0 496

Your Accounts Payable (AP) department is the backbone of your organization. Among the several things your AP team does to keep the organization running smoothly is help you pay vendors, confirm the accuracy of your books, and ensure that your cash forecasts are precise. When you support your AP team with the right tools, skills, processes, and knowledge they need to do their jobs, your entire organization benefits.

During our annual AP Recognition Week, we’ll take you through the best ways to support your AP team and help the team become the MVPs of your organization.

In this post, we’ll highlight the three things to watch for during this year’s AP Recognition Week, October 4-8.

  1.  Ideas for stronger processes: Throughout the week, we’ll offer several tips to help you discover where your organization stands with its AP processes and where there are opportunities to transform those processes to help you build a truly modern workplace. Join our free webinar on Tuesday, October 5, where our experts will help you learn how to identify those areas to strengthen. They’ll also provide several tips to help you implement changes to assist your AP team’s professional growth while helping your organization become more successful. Sign up for our webinar and earn a free CPE credit.
  2.  Possibilities to assess: Before your organization can make any major changes to AP, it needs to assess its current tools and processes to see what’s working and where there are areas to improve. We’ll offer opportunities for you to make these assessments throughout the week. In addition to getting ideas of what to assess from our webinar, you can complete a short assessment about how your organization uses its AP-related tools and processes. At the end, your answers will generate a customized list of action items you can take back to your AP team.  Take our fun & free AP assessment.  5 minutes, 10 questions.
  3. Suggestions to appreciate: A big part of AP Recognition Week is, not surprisingly, recognition. Your AP team is a valuable part of your organization and contributes to the success of your business. Team members deserve appreciation that extends beyond the week, so they have the tools and knowledge they need to do their jobs well. We’ll show you how you can offer continuous professional development opportunities. You’ll also learn where automation can free up their valuable time and resources. And, of course, we’ll provide some simple ideas to help you say thank you.
