SAP Concur Community Participant Guidelines

The mission of this online community is to provide a peer-to-peer channel for customers and users of SAP Concur products. This community should be used to facilitate conversations around SAP Concur products, post FAQs for Support, and provide information around company-sponsored events.

Note: We reserve the right to remove any content at any time for any reason. Partners involved in the SAP Concur Community must pay close attention to guideline number two. Conversations that discuss solution costs or that contain sales messaging will be immediately removed. Failure to consistently comply will result in removal from the group.

Our community is aimed solely at SAP Concur customers and users, including SAP Concur Partners with an interest in SAP Concur, as long as community rules are observed.

The Community Guidelines are as follows:

  1. Be respectful:
Respect people's time and attention by asking well-thought-out questions and sharing what you've learned so far in your SAP Concur experience. Respect people as individuals by keeping your tone positive and your comments constructive. Web communities are popular because people feel free to express themselves. Customers might articulate complaints etc., which we encourage them to do on our Community rather than elsewhere, since this offers an opportunity for open dialogue and exchange of information. Keep in mind several members may be new to using SAP Concur products.
  2. Don't sell:
We ask that you join the community with the intention of providing support and insight only. Please avoid posting content that solely promotes your product or comes across as a sales pitch.  Please be very prudent with adding hyperlinks to your posts. We want to avoid the appearance of SPAM links and malicious/harmful links. Hyperlinks not related to SAP Concur or SAP Concur products will be deleted and marked as SPAM. Posting inappropriate links will likely get the poster banned from the community.
  3. Be relevant:
Make sure your contributions are relevant to the mission of the community and to the specific discussion style and topic where you post. Please do not post duplicate messages in different areas of the community to avoid fragmenting discussion. If you have a new question, start a new thread rather than interrupting a conversation. Solicitations are rarely relevant. If you have something you want members to join, participate in, or buy, ask us first.
  4. Be professional and set the tone:
As a member of this community, you have the opportunity to create and maintain a positive, constructive and fun atmosphere. The content of your conversations and your personal profile picture (avatar), should reflect this.
  5. Keep your word:
Don't post anything that would violate any contractual agreements (copyright, trade secret or otherwise) or nondisclosure agreements to which you are a party. This includes discussions around pricing and value surrounding SAP Concur solutions.
  6. Protect privacy - yours and others':
Don't share anything about yourself or your organization that you would not want to see elsewhere on the internet. Share your business email address if you wish, but don't post personal information-your own or anyone else's, including contact information or any content that you receive in one-to-one communications without the author's consent.

  7. Remember, this is user-generated content:
You'll find plenty of good advice here, but remember that your situation, configuration, or implementation may vary from that of the individual sharing a solution. Some advice you find here may even be wrong. Apply the same good judgment here that you would apply to information anywhere on the Internet.

By using these forums, you agree to follow these rules as well as the full Terms of Service for the SAP Concur Community. We thank you, and your fellow community members thank you.

Your profile: Please do not include the terms “SAP”, “SAP Concur”, "Admin", "Administrator", "Manager", "ASC", "Site" or “Concur” in your username. As a member of the community, you are representing yourself as an individual, not SAP Concur. We ask that your username reflect this by not containing our name,  brand or any term that would suggest you are a community manager or administrator. Please also keep in mind that your username will be public and should be something you are comfortable having visible in the SAP Concur Community public forums.

The SAP Concur Logo and SAP Concur Employees

You will notice that some community members have an SAP Concur logo next to their names- this means they are SAP Concur employees. Like you, they are members of the community and we encourage them to share their knowledge and opinions here.
