Copydown setting on Request

Hi there.

I have a question about copydown settings.

Does the data type of copydown have to be matched to  the source of the copydown?

I want to put copydown on first level of linkned list from a single list on Request, but it won't be saved saying [Specified field is not a valid copy down source field for target field]

Can anyone tell me why and how ?

@Miri Hi!  You are trying to copy down a field from a connected list, to a field with a single list?  If that is the case, that would not work as they do not share the same list and type of list.  You can copy down from a list field to a Text field though.
