Changing Flights Directly With Airline

If I book and pay for a flight through Concur and then want to change it can I do so on an airline's website.  Also if there is an add collect for the change can I use credits I have with the airline and/or a gift card for that airline?  Thanks

Hi ABC1, 

Yes, you can do everything that you mentioned; i've found that both United and Delta (and I think JetBlue, too) are easy to change on their websites once the trip is ticketed.  American has given me issues in the past - I've gotten a message something like "you booked this with a travel agency, you must contact them for changes"
