Can't cancel booked hotel

I just booked a hotel for Nov 8th and it states cancel 1 day ahead without penalty.

But when I try to cancel it states I will be charged a cancellation.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Fees may apply
Must Cancel 1 Day(S) Prior To Arrival.

@lensmith I would suggest one of the following:

1. Call the hotel directly to cancel to make sure you are not charged.

or

2. Call your company's travel agency to cancel.
