Query Studio access

I am trying to grant permissions for a user to access the Query Studio.  I've read that I need to grant the Professional Author role; however, when I try to do that, I get the following error message.  "Cognos license have not been activated for this role. Refer to your Expense Administrator"

How do I activate this license?

Thanks,

Kevin

@kcsevan the role for Query Studio is Business Author. Give that a try. It should work. Professional Author is a role when you have purchased the buy-up version of Cognos.

Thank you -  The other tip to only use Internet Explorer was the other missing piece!

@kcsevan yes, that is very important. Cognos won't play nice if you aren't using IE.
