Concur App issues - Australia

Hi, we are facing the following issues when using Concur app.  Much appreciated if we could get some helps here.  Thanks

  1. Concur app says an item is GST free and it isn’t and can’t change it in the app.
  2. Occasionally cannot upload a receipt photo
  3. Expense type does not populate
  4. Business purpose gets rejected
  5. Frequently used categories do not stay at the top like they used to

Have you checked that your phone operating system and the Concur app are both up-do-date with the latest versions?  Is this affecting multiple users?

I'm the Concur administrator for our company that is also based in Australia and haven't heard of any of our users experiencing these app issues.

@TK2 piggy-backing on what @DeanR said, it also helps to shut down the mobile device and reboot it.

As for the tax issue, is this happening in the web version?

Also, are you users experiencing these issues with corporate card transactions? Are these out of pocket expenses? Are they using ExpenseIt? Are they by chance using the +Create button on the Mobile App home screen?

There are several things to consider, so we would need to know what steps users are taking to better provide any help.

Thank you,

Hi Kevin,

The users have shut down and reboot the device and same issues continue.

We do not experience the tax issue in the web version.

Yes, the issues are mainly sitting with corporate card transactions and we are not using Expenselt.

Thanks

Hi Kevin,

Just to add that I did a quick test with an out-of-pocket expense yesterday on the app, and I also couldn't edit the tax amount field.  May be an app 'feature' rather than a bug?

EDIT: Found this improvement request: Improvement Request Details - Customer Influence (sap.com)

Hi @DeanR , in GST free / excluded item box, the App always come up as "Yes" (i.e. by default it is GST Free), but in actual fact, most expenses in Australia should have GST.  User try to change it from the drop down but it was not allow them to make the changes.  they have to then login via to web to make this change.

Is this a bug or setting issue?  If this is setting issue, how to get the correct setting?

Thanks

Cheers,

Hi @TK2 , per my previous comment the GST amount is not editable in the app under the current design.  I've linked to the improvement request to get this changed - https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/284271

GST configuration is under Administration -> Expense -> Expense Admin -> Tax Administration.

If you don't have access to the Administration menu then it means you don't have the necessary Role and would need to contact your company's Concur administrator to make the change.

I don't see a GST free / excluded item box in the app so this may be a configuration for your company.  Please check with your company's Concur administrator.
