I submitted a Business Meal, and the Alert says that I have to follow the Financial policy for gifts and gift cards. My manager tells me this has happened to others - that there's a bug in the system. Can someone help?
@lgroff11 these alerts are yellow which means they will not prevent report submission. I don't believe this is a bug. Your company has some rules set up with conditions that apply to certain expense types or spend categories. I think these are more of a reminder since it is a meal that includes people outside your organization. The rules are set up to make sure people are following company policy to ensure there isn't any impropriety when it comes to providing a benefit/gift to those outside your company.
