Delegates level approving

Hi

 

If we have an expense workflow with 2 level approvers (mirroring our cost center setup) in Concur though they are level approvers and not set by value (amount).

 

We want the employee to be able to setup a delegate to that of a only someone having the same level approval or above. We do not want the employee to be able to select someone on a lower level to be able to approve expenses. 

 

We do not want to have to have a concur admin or processor to have to setup and reroute delegates, essentially adding people's out of office for them as this simply is not efficient.

 

We want the employee to in which is going to be away to take ownership of their own affairs and delegate to the appropriate level approver.

 

What are the solutions for such a scenario?
